The authors analysed the effects of the pandemic through interviews with company representatives from both countries and mapped the reactions, measures, and strategies of their firms. They designed the analytical framework using the literature on resilient supply chains. The results confirm that every company (all of whom were given state support) experienced losses and disruptions as a result of the pandemic. The firms applied several resilience-building measures that \u2013 in line with those discussed in the literature \u2013 appeared to improve agility, information flows, and cooperation.
