Welcome
The Africa Subcommittee was relaunched on May 13, 2021, under the aegis of the Committee on International and Development Studies of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
The mission of the subcommittee is:
- to provide an umbrella for Hungarian Africanists conducting research on/related to Africa and/or teaching African studies all over the country in different research and educational institutions,
- to disseminate and discuss research results, to organize scientific conferences and events,
- to enhance cooperation between researchers, governmental bodies and civil society, to create a link between theory and practice,
- to enhance international embeddedness of Hungarian Africanists.
