2019. november 7-én és 8-án a Comenius University in Bratislava szervezésében a Departmanet of Political Science workshop-ot tartott „From economic to energy transition: Three decades of transitions in Central and Eastern Europe” címmel.
A rendezvényen a Világgazdasági Intézet több munkatársa is előadást tartott: Deák András, a VGI Globalizáció közgazdaságtana kutatócsoport vezetője és Szabó John tudományos segédmunkatárs „Repeating what happened 50 years ago„, Weiner Csaba tudományos főmunkatárs pedig „Pathways for a low-carbon electricity system: The case of Hungary, Poland, Bulgaria and Lithuania” címmel.
